Boeing is seeking a Field Service Associate to support its growing requirements in a customer support office in Dubai. You will be a key member of the Field Service team, providing administrative and customer support to facilitate on-site Field Service activities. In this role, you will interact with Boeing personnel, customer personnel in a fast pace environment.
As a Field Service Associate your role is to perform the office administrative tasks to allow the Field Service personnel to concentrate on customer airline problems. The duties and & responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Office reception
- Follow administrative processes and procedures contained in the Field Service Procedures Manual and Base Procedures Manual. Research and compose reports, technical data and reliability reports. Stay current with Boeing Communication System. Assist in establishing administrative processes and procedures. Compose office reports and other correspondence to both Boeing and the customer. Use advanced features of computer software programs (e.g. Powerpoint, Excel, MSWord and Boeing Communication System).
- Maintain office equipment, inventory control, record keeping , office up-keep
- Perform expense reporting for the local Field Service team and broader field service team
- Coordinate and support visiting Boeing personnel
- Translate, comprehend and provide answers/solutions as necessary from local language to English including use of technical terminology. Communicate effectively with customers
- Work under general supervision to assist internal and external customers with answers or information of a routine nature. Find solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and moderate complexity following established policies and procedures utilizing internal company information resources
- Acts as on-site representative in the absence of the assigned Technical Representative on a temporary basis at the customer's location
- Provide basic document and on-line training (e.g. myboeingfleet, Boeing Communication System, Technical In- Service Request) for internal and external customers
- Work with base personnel in coordinating and organizing events (e.g. regional meetings, conferences) as required.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll, and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable UAE law. Employment is subject to the candidate s ability to satisfy all UAE labor and immigration formalities. This job may be level C or level D and will determined by the level of experience and qualifications of the selected candidate, in relation to the scope and responsibility of the position.

- Ability to work in a team environment, being co-located with the team
- Preference for those familiar with the aviation industry
