Honeywell - Dubai
Position Overview:

Honeywell Scanning & Mobility is the Global Leader in the design and manufacture of image and laser based data collection solutions. You will provide primary technical support and training to Honeywell Authorized Service Partners (ASP’s) in the Middle East region.

Responsibilities: 
  • Develop training material and hardware kits to train ASP’s on new products. Provide training to ASP’s on running products as required
  • Keep repair product knowledge up-to-date and provide (remote) technical support for the full product range
  • Inform and train ASP’s on implementation of Engineering Changes
  • Monitor ASP repair performance on material consumption and repair quality, report back to EMEA Repair Centers Manager
  • Key interface between ASP’s and HSM for any escalations
  • Qualify partners that aspire to become ASP
  • Create forecast for ASP inventory (based on install base, age of product, historical failure rate etc.)
  • Based in Dubai office but significant travel required throughout the GCC

Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience: 
  • Basic degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 3-5 years hands-on repair experience of handheld / mobile terminals, scanning devices and barcode printers
  • Experience with Android and Windows OS
  • Analytical abilities
  • Good communication / presentation skills
  • Accurate and precise in all aspects of daily work
  • Experience with running a repair center operation in the AIDC industry is a plus
